January 11, 2013The green smoothie mania continues. This one was a beautiful sunrise colour thanks to the papaya and pineapple before we added all the greens. Still tastes nice and tropical, a nice treat in the colder months to remind you of lying on a beach somewhere sunny.
Ingredients:
1-2 cups water
1 scoop Vega One, natural,
1 scoop Whey Protein Isolate, unflavoured
2 lemons juiced
2 cups pineapple
2 cups papaya (1/3 a large papaya)
2 cups spinach
1 cup parsley (handful)
1 sprig mint leaves
1 handful arugula
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1 heaping tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp chlorella
