Water is critical for maintaining core body temperatures, i.e. keeping you cool! It’s also key to keeping you energized by transporting nutrients throughout the body and eliminating wastes. Try consuming the number of ounces that is equal to half your body weigh in pounds (i.e a 140lb person should consume 70 oz or about 9 cups per day).
